The start of the SuperBike and SuperSport world championship will be postponed. As was easily predictable, the evolution of the world pandemic marks the first change in the calendar. The world championship of production derivatives should have started right in the temple of speed on two wheels, in Assen the Netherlands. The Dutch government in agreement with Dorna, evaluating the new developments of the Corona Virus infections, decreed the postponement of the Dutch round to the end of July, exactly on 23/25 July.
For the first race of the world championship we will therefore have to wait until 7/9 May in Portugal, on the Estoril circuit.
The Misano Adriatico round to be held on 11/13 June will therefore become the third appointment in order of date in the world championship!
Nothing to do for Imola. The Enzo and Dino Ferrari circuit was not included in the world calendar.
